Description
Honey mustard – our “sweetie” from the Eifel!
The combination of creamy honey and historic mustard melts into a delicious treat! The sweetness and spiciness merge into a perfect duo, giving the honey mustard its deliciously sweet taste.
How is honey mustard made?
Our historic mustard also serves as the basis and foundation for honey mustard. Fine honey is added to it, up to a honey content of 30 percent. Like all other mustard variations, the honey mustard is produced by head miller Erwin according to his own or old recipes.
What does our honey mustard go best with?
Our honey mustard feels most at home and tastes best “near” poultry, meat and fish. As a honey mustard dressing, it turns every green salad, paprika, corn and Co. into a delicacy. Whether served as a simple dip or as a mustard sauce for sandwiches and wraps, honey mustard always makes the best of it in terms of taste. Raclette and fondue dishes at the festive season also benefit from its flavorful enrichment.
Another storage tip!
Please ensure that you store the mustard in a cool, dark place after opening. This is because it retains its perfect taste and wonderfully fresh sharpness over a longer period of time!
